After custom building your ring, we take it straight to the wholesalers so you can avoid paying the inflated retail markups. Our team walks with you through the entire process and gives you all you need to make a wise and informed decision. We're here to find the exact ring she wants at the price you love.
Where is FP located?
Faithful Platform’s headquarters is in Lexington, Kentucky. Our offices are located at 851 Corporate Drive #200, Lexington, KY 40503.
How quickly can you create and deliver a custom piece?
Typically, we can create and deliver your custom piece within 4 to 6 weeks from the time your order is placed. Your consultant will be able to provide a more accurate estimate after you decide on your specific design.
What is the difference between a standard and a custom build?
A standard build uses an existing casting for the ring setting you choose, meaning no custom mold is required. This option typically has a shorter turnaround time, depending on the design details.
How quickly can you create and deliver a custom piece?
Typically, we can create and deliver your custom piece within 4 to 6 weeks from the time your order is placed. Your consultant will be able to provide a more accurate estimate after you decide on your specific design.
Can you deliver sooner?
We can expedite your order if needed to meet a specific deadline. Our team will assess the situation and use their best judgment to determine if an expedited timeline is necessary.

What are the 4Cs of diamonds?
The 4C’s of a diamond are:
Cut – This is all about sparkle! The way a diamond is cut affects how much light it reflects, making it shine and sparkle. A well-cut diamond will dazzle in the sunlight.
Color – Color refers to how colorless a diamond is. The GIA scale ranges from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown).
Clarity – Clarity refers to the natural imperfections, or inclusions, inside a diamond. These are usually microscopic and aren’t visible to the naked eye, so they don’t take away from the diamond’s beauty.
Carat – This is the weight of the diamond, which also impacts its size. Bigger isn’t always better, but it’s a key factor to consider when building her dream ring.
What is the difference between lab-grown and natural diamonds?
Lab-grown and natural diamonds are both real diamonds, with the same chemical, physical, and durability properties. The main differences are origin, formation time, and cost. Natural diamonds are formed deep in the Earth over millions of years, while lab-grown diamonds are created in labs in a few months, using the same conditions.
How can I be sure I’m receiving the actual diamond I paid for?
Unless noted otherwise, all of our diamonds come with a certification (like GIA, IGI, etc.) to guarantee their quality. Each diamond also has a unique number inscribed on it, which you can see under a microscope. It’s just one more way to give you peace of mind about your beautiful stone!

RING SIZING, CARE, & CLEANING
How do I accurately determine my ring size?
To correctly determine your ring size, you’ll want to get measured by a professional. There are many online printable options, but few are reliable or accurate. If you're local to Lexington, stop by our office and we'll measure it for you. If you're not nearby, you can visit any jewelry store to get measured.
How do I get her ring size if the engagement ring is a surprise?
If you’re keeping the engagement ring a surprise, there are a few sneaky ways to get her size! You can measure an existing ring of hers or ask a close friend or family member who might already know her size. Another option is to trace the inner and outer edges of her ring on a piece of paper and bring it to a jeweler to have it sized.
Can my ring be resized to any size?
Most rings can be resized up or down by one full size without any issues. If you need to resize it more than one size, we may need to recast the ring, which could add some extra costs. But don’t worry—we’ll guide you through the process and make sure it’s a perfect fit and let you know if there are additional charges before we perform the work.
What do I do if I need my ring resized?
If you need your ring resized, the process is simple. Just fill out our Repair/Resize form, and if you're local, you can stop by our office. If you're not nearby, simply ship it to us. Once you complete the form, you’ll get an email with more information.
How long does a ring resize take?
A standard resize typically takes about 10 business days once we receive and inspect the ring. If your resize requires more time or additional work, we’ll be sure to reach out and keep you updated.
How much will my resize cost?
Your first resize is on us—completely complimentary! After that, any additional resizing starts at $35.
How do I send my ring back for resizing?
We recommend using FedEx to send your ring back for resizing, as they’re our trusted shipping partner. However, you’re welcome to choose whichever shipping provider is most convenient and cost-effective for you. Once your resize is complete, we’ll cover the shipping cost to send it back to you!
How do I clean my diamond ring/jewelry?
If you're local or willing to ship your jewelry to us, we have a professional grade cleaner that uses high-frequency sound waves and steam to gently lift dirt and debris from hard-to-reach spots in your jewelry.
How do I clean my pearl or gemstone ring/jewelry?
In general, gemstones like pearls, emeralds, and opals are softer, and more porous than diamonds, so chemicals, abrasives, or extreme temperatures can easily damage them. It's best to avoid using soap and water and instead use a soft, lightly damp cloth to wipe the surface gently.
Can I send my ring in for polishing and cleaning?
Yes! We’d love to clean and polish your ring anytime. Just stop by our office or mail it to us (you can reach out to customerserivce@faithfulplatform.com for shipping info), and we’ll have it looking good as new in no time.

Additionally, many factors influence the cost of a ring, such as cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. Even small variations can lead to significant price differences, making it challenging to provide an accurate estimate without understanding your specific preferences.
Why can’t I add an item to my cart and check out?
We don’t carry a standard inventory because we specialize in custom jewelry. Every piece is made to order, so we purchase gold, diamonds, and gemstones specifically for each client. Because the market can change, prices may vary based on current availability and fluctuations.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept a variety of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, ACH (online checks), cash, and Affirm for financing options.
Do your prices change often and how long are quotes valid for?
Yes, our prices can change because the spot market price of diamonds, gemstones, and gold can fluctuate. Typically, a quote is valid for 30 days, but if there are any major changes before that, we’ll keep you updated.
Do you have annual sales or discount codes?
No; we don’t do sales or discount codes because we believe in fair and honest pricing, 100% of the time. While traditional jewelry stores mark up prices by 300-1000% to allow for "big sales," we prioritize offering you the best price year-round. No gimmicks, just value. What is a good “starting price” for engagement rings?
On average, most engagement rings fall in the $2,000 to $5,000 range, though the price can vary depending on the style, diamond, and materials you choose.
POST-SALE SERVICES
How can I and where should I insure my ring?
There are several options for ring insurance, but the one we usually recommend is Jewelers Mutual. They’re a trusted option to help protect your ring against loss, theft, or damage. You should purchase this as soon as you receive your ring, even if you haven’t proposed yet. For more information or other options, check out this post on our blog.
Do you provide an appraisal with the ring?
Yes, we provide an official appraisal. After purchasing your jewelry from Faithful Platform, you’ll receive a copy of the appraisal in your order. If for any reason you don’t receive it, reach out to us at customerservice@faithfulplatform.com, and we can send a copy to your inbox.
Do I receive updates after I have placed my order?
Yes, you’ll receive updates throughout the production process. You can track the progress of your ring in your client portal. We’ll email you any order updates and ask you to confirm your address before it ships.
What do I do if a stone falls out or feels loose?
If a stone ever falls out or feels loose, please don’t panic, and let us know as soon as possible! Fill out our Repair/Resize form, and we’ll email you with next steps. If you don’t see the email within 24 hours (check your spam folder), reach out to us at customerservice@faithfulplatform.com, and we’ll take care of you.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day refund period for non-custom build orders. However, custom-built rings are final sale and can’t be returned. That said, we’ll be transparent throughout the entire process and work closely with you to ensure you’re absolutely happy with the design before it’s finalized. Which products are eligible for returns or exchanges?
Non-custom rings can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. We want you to be completely happy with your choice, so if something isn’t quite right, just let us know!
How much will my repair cost?
Under our 3-year warranty, Faithful Platform fully covers any repairs due to general wear and tear. For repairs outside of normal wear and tear, our jewelers will evaluate the situation and provide a personalized quote before any work is done.
How do I send my ring back for repair or service?
We recommend using FedEx to send your ring back to us, as they’re our trusted shipping partner. However, you’re welcome to choose whichever shipping provider is most convenient and cost-effective for you. Once your resize is complete, we’ll cover the shipping cost to send it back to you.
How long does a ring repair take?
A standard repair usually takes about 10 business days once we receive and inspect your ring. If the repair requires more time or additional work, we’ll reach out to keep you updated.
SHIPPING, FEES, AND TAXES
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally! For security reasons, we don’t recommend shipping directly to your home. Instead, we ship via FedEx to an authorized holding location that’s convenient for you. As long as there’s a secure pickup spot nearby, we’re happy to ship anywhere you are.
If international, will I have to pay for shipping or duties/taxes/fees at import?
For international orders, we’ll cover the cost of shipping to you, but you will be responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees at import. These fees can vary depending on the country, so it’s a good idea to check with your local customs office for more details.
How will the package be delivered?
We ship via FedEx to ensure your jewelry arrives safely. Your package will be delivered to the closest verified FedEx holding location, where it will be securely held until you’re ready to pick it up with your photo ID.
Will the delivery be insured?
Yes, your delivery will be fully insured. Faithful Platform takes full liability throughout the shipping process, so if anything happens during transit, we’ll replace or repair anything that doesn’t arrive in perfect condition.
Can you ship to an alternative address?
We can ship to a residential address if needed, but we prefer to ship to the nearest FedEx holding location for added security. It’s the safest way to ensure your valuable items are protected until you're ready to pick them up.
How long does delivery take?
We ship via FedEx's 2-day shipping. While we can’t guarantee exact timing due to factors like weather delays or holidays, we always consider your deadline and make sure to ship your ring in time to arrive on schedule, or even earlier! Shipping times may vary depending on location, but our team is great at planning ahead to ensure it gets to you on time.
Can I pay extra for expedited shipping?
We prioritize meeting your deadline, so we’ll expedite shipping if needed. If your ring needs to arrive sooner, we’ll arrange overnight shipping and speed up the process at our operations team's discretion to ensure it arrives on time or earlier.
